         US Ambassador Haley: the UN SC will focus on Iran instead of Israel 

Under this month’s presidency of US Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley, the next UN Security Council’s Middle East debate will break with long tradition. Instead of focusing on Israel and the Palestinians, Ambassador Haley informed a news conference that the debate on April 2O will revolve around Iran’s support for terrorism, the Syrian crisis, Hizballah and Hamas. Haley said she would oppose a UN debate on Israel until the Palestinians agree to return to the negotiating table.
