Retires From
Tribeca Flashpoint Media Arts Academy
Chicago - Tribeca
Flashpoint Media Arts Academy (“TFA”) announced today that Howard A. Tullman
has retired as Chairman effective this month in order to spend more time
speaking, teaching and working with entrepreneurs and early-stage businesses
through his new venture fund, G2T3V, LLC - Investors in Disruptive Innovators. Tullman was the founding CEO of TFA, serving
in that capacity until earlier this year when Todd Steele was named CEO and
Tullman assumed the Chairman’s role.
“While I am
pleased with all of the innovations that Tribeca Flashpoint Academy has brought
to digital media arts education since its inception more than 6 years ago, I am
most proud of the hundreds of students who have successfully graduated and
embarked on their careers,” said Tullman. “Under Todd’s leadership, I am
confident that the Academy will continue to provide a first-rate education to
its students in an innovative and dynamic way.”
“Under Howard’s
leadership, in just a few years, TFA has become well known across the country for
its industry-focused, progressive approach to media arts education” said
Steele. “The Board of Directors and I
thank Howard for his substantial contributions to TFA, and wish him well with
G2T3V, LLC and his future ventures.”
