In Trump’s America, only Trump can be
trusted
Trump’s efforts to undermining the credibility of anyone who
disagrees with him is nothing new.

President Donald Trump claims healthcare workers are inflating
the number of COVID-19 deaths because “doctors get money and hospitals get more
money.”
It must be about money because that’s always the priority with
Trump.
This is the same man who has said that the Centers for Disease
Control can’t be trusted and called into question the integrity of Dr. Anthony
Fauci, the nation’s leading expert on infectious diseases.
Why has Trump done this? Because he doesn’t like the statistics
that show he has presided over one of the deadliest epidemics in the history of
the United States, so far costing us more than 225,000 lives.
Undermining the credibility of anyone who disagrees with him is
nothing new for Trump.
He has repeatedly attacked the U.S. intelligence agencies and
their directors because of reports that key players in his administration are
connected to Russian election tampering.
The CIA and the FBI cannot be trusted, the president tell us. He
has talked to Russian President Vladimir Putin, the former head of the KGB, and
Putin says the Russians did not interfere in the American election in 2016.
Trump believes in Putin.
If you are considering a vote for Trump, I have to ask you how
this makes any sense. Why would an American president accept the word of
someone trying to destroy our nation over the word of his own intelligence
officials?
This is the same president who has attacked the news media as
enemies of the state for asking him questions and writing news articles
critical of his administration.
He has ridiculed U.S. military generals as inept because their
opinions have conflicted with his own.
He has attacked Congress, the courts, and called into question
the validity of our election system. There is fraud everywhere he looks. If he
doesn’t win, he may not accept the decision of the people. He may refuse to
leave office.
In a nation run by this president, no one can be trusted but
this president.
Anyone who disagrees with this president is wrong. Not only are
they wrong, they are disloyal. They are disloyal not only to the Trump
administration, but to the United States.
Why? Because allegiance to Trump supersedes allegiance to our
country.
Perhaps Trump’s supporters actually believe our government, our
Constitution and our way of life have become so corrupted that they must be
replaced by Trump. There is no arguing the matter. To do so indicates you are a
traitor to your country; disloyal to Trump.
There are no higher laws than his law. He can murder someone in
the streets and get away with it. He has said as much. I believe he believes
it.
We once were a nation that laughed at strongmen who demanded
military parades and public displays of affection. They produced mass rallies
where thousands of people cheered and shouted the names of the glorious
leaders.
We knew it was all phony. We understood that such nonsense had
nothing to do with freedom and democracy and everything to do with
intimidating.
Trump has used the military to gas peaceful protestors outside
the White House so he could march to a church and hold up a bible for a staged
photo opportunity. You know what sort of national leader does that.
Trump believes that he alone speaks for America. He believes
that he alone knows what’s best for you. All others must be publicly denounced
for the good of the country.
You know what all of this means. It is clear. The fate of the
nation hangs in the balance.
