67 words to celebrate Israel’s 67th birthday




Herzl thought establishing Israel would end anti-Semitism because we’d have our own land, no longer be the perpetual minority, and be universally accepted.  He was wrong. We survive as a people today because of our astounding resilience, but equally because of the moral and military strength of the IDF and their daily sacrifices.  This photo reminds me of the precarious tightrope these young heroes walk every day.   HAT
